If you can see a rectal doctor I would advise having it checked out. I've had a small one for 20 years. I use Prep H. This helps with swelling and itching. It's not that serious of a thing. It's very common to have one or more. At your age I don't think its a big issue. If it causes extreme pain or bleeding a doctor can put a tie on it and it will just fall off. Surgery is only for extreme cases of hemmoroids. But, its generally nothing to worry about. I work in a surgery department so I know about these things.

What can delay a period? I need some honest opinions, please!?
What can delay a period? I need some honest opinions, please!?
Especially if you've been through stuff like this. By the way, don't say the period pill, because I'm not on that. Any other reason would be great! :)

Pregnancy is the most common answer to this question. If there is any chance you are pregnant, you should take a pregnancy test and see a gynecologist. That being said, there are other possibilities.
First, some women are not as regular in their cycles as others, you may not always have your period exactly on the predicted day. If you are more than a couple of days off, you should be concerned though. If for some reason your body did not have the energy or resources to go through a cycle this month, you may not have a period this month at all. Somethings that can cause this are malnutrition (usually due to an eating disorder) or for some women, a lot of stress will do the same thing. If you see a gynecologist and are not pregnant, but the problem persists, you should schedule an appointment with your regular doctor, as this could be a sign of poor overall health.
